The pool guy, Chapter II
On this end of the project he decided to save $8.00 by using an existing 20 amp circuit breaker. Unfortunately, the 14 gauge wire he used for the outdoor pool lighting circuit is rated for 15 amps, not 20 amps.
The wire he pulled through the ragged hole at the top of the breaker box will protect this over-sized breaker by going up in flames long before the breaker ever trips.
